Granite Halmar, the general contractor during construction of New York City Transit Authority's bus depot, was faced with a challenge while arranging for office and conference space for their site engineers.
Due to the constrained working conditions, placement of the mobile offices they needed was restricted to an area running approximately 16 feet around the construction-site's perimiter.

ModSpace provided the solution by stacking multiple
12' x 60' construction offices on a scaffolding system strong enough to safely support their weight. No easy task, considering the units had to be stacked on top of each other—requiring a scaffolding system measuring over 12 feet in the air.

This unique application allowed Granite Halmar to work within the site's limitations, while successfully gaining them the necessary office and conference space they needed during construction of the bus depot.
