ModSpace Recognized by Modular Building Institute for Award-Winning Website

Berwyn PA, April 14, 2008 - The newly redesigned website for ModSpace, one of North America's largest modular building providers, has been recognized with first-place honors in the Modular Building Institute (MBI) 2008 "Awards of Distinction" last week for marketing-website category. The MBI Awards of Distinction is the modular industry's premier award competition for MBI members and is open to building manufacturers, dealers, and product and service providers. Marketing category pieces were judged on objectives, creativity and results.

According to Keith Shipp, ModSpace's senior vp of sales and marketing, the website has been instrumental in building the ModSpace brand and demonstrating the value proposition of the company's combined fleet and custom modular building solutions to customers.

"We have enhanced our website with valuable tools and resources - such as project photo slideshows and one-page quote requests - that allow customers to quickly evaluate their modular space options and fulfill their needs," said Shipp. "We've seen website traffic increase substantially with a 65 percent jump in website visits during the initial months following the re-launch of modspace.com in the summer of 2007."

Some of the other notable features and enhancements to the website include one-page quote request fulfilled within 24 hours, rotating home page features showcasing new projects and offerings, easy-to-use navigation with jumping points to products and services, current lease/purchase specials by geography, e-newsletter sign-up and press room resources for the media.

The MBI Awards of Distinction program offers competition in over 30 categories for MBI members and is open to building manufacturers, dealers, and product and service providers. In addition to the marketing category first place award, ModSpace also won first place awards in the permanent healthcare and retail industry categories as well as an honorable mention in the temporary education category.
